"Beautiful. I had not heard of Jon Hinthorne, but his piano music deserves to be known: it gives such inspirational uplift, truly 'Leaving the Vertical World' for something that it transcends. Try Jon Hinthorne's other albums, too: 'Elation' for, well, elation and 'Progressions through Time' for peace, calm and cascading harmonies... Reminded me of Rick Wakeman's Sea Airs, Night Airs, etc. Hope the next album by Jon will follow soon!"

I have a day care and have a testimony of Jon's peaceful music. I have a little girl that under 1, every once in a while, could not be calmed. This one day after many attemps, and a few minutes of utter frustration on not knowing what else to do for her, I put on Jon's 3rd cd. She IMMEDIATELY became peaceful and calm. I heard of another story of a middle school teacher that had a very wild and wooly 1st hour class. Finally in a desparate attempt, the teacher put on Jon's 3rd cd before the students arrived and had it playing as they came in. The students were very quiet, calm and respectful that day. So, she played that cd the remainder of the school year as they came in and it became all of their peace and quiet moment. I have two day care mothers that have all 3 of Jon's cds and it is the only music they will play in the car. The kids love it and it creates a wonderful atmosphere as they drive to where ever they need to go. He truly is an instrument of spiritual intuition of music. The emotion just flows through his music and fingers. I am honored to call him, my son.

Mr. Hinthorne's music has an effortless simplicity that is rare in modern music. Neither mechanical nor sloppy, neither contrived nor absent-minded, every piece comes from the heart, expressing what I believe to be a natural gift for melody and chord structure. Every time I put on one of Hinthorne's records, I am swept away to another plane of consciousness, one that is without that which does not matter; one that is where I can simply be.
